so toady i pulled the starter on my 90 n/a manual and cleaned the brushes and test it becasue i was told that the starter was bad. i know bout the 30 amp relay and i plan to do it soon but i got a question. what the hell is the red circle thing for in my pic. i know the blue green and yellow but the red one is confusing the crap out of me. when i pulled the cover off to clean the brushes and stuff i saw that it went popped up under the brushes that connect to the coil. so what does it do and what am i supposed to do with it. i looked in my haynes manual and nothing in there about it and its not in any of their drawings of the starter either. any and definity all help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
