Ok so like the title says i went for a drive in my car it was only for 2 miles. car was dead so i jumped it with my dad's truck. started up right away no problems sounded great. when i started to leave i noticed the gas light was on so i said hell i will make it a short drive only 2 miles. I did one small pull in 2nd and noticed that i wasn't pushing full boost 10psi is full boost and at this time i was only running 6psi wtf, lets get home and see whats going on. I thought to my self well maybe i just blew off ic pipes but it was driving to nice in the rpms. so i get in my drive way and pull up and it is trying really hard to stay running and wanting to fall on its face, it was only running 10 hg vac normally 20. i leave it running pop the hood and start listening for vac leaks. nothing that i can hear im running open dp so its loud. lol Well i turn it off and look for anything that i could notice like vac lines undone ic pipes that where just hanging on but nothing so i get the good old propain and start the car back up i check the intake and all the ic pipes with the propain and no change.????? So after that i check all the plugs and wires to make sure everything was ok they where old but checked out. they do need to be changed but they where working before hand.

Now when i was checking everything i happen to pull off the oil cap and guess what i saw you guessed it right milk shake wtf, it has been raining for the last 2 weeks here and then just started to be nice i don't know if that would have anything to do with it. i really dough it but hell you never know. so i cleaned that off and see what happens im not going to drive it till i get the problems figured out.

The car had a code 52 before the problem started because of a bad KS wire i know it needs to be fixed and am working on that right now. i checked the codes after the car was running like that and the only code was 52.

My mods lol

3" hks dp thats it no other exhaust piping

any help would be great.

code 52 + driving = poor performance

less boost + less performance + low vac = torn IC pipe

3" DP + no cat back = FTL = Fail

:)

i will get under there again and check but im almost sure that its not.

IC tears are very tricky to target, as visually you may never see it, and even running your hands into spaces, you may run right over them. boost leak test the system and you will have your answer

ok well im sitting her waiting for my dad to get back from the store with my stuff to make a the boost leak tester and i was thinking about what do i do with all the hoses that are on the accordion pipe and how do i stop the air from going past the valves because there is no way to stop that unless you take the cams out.

ok so i did a boost leak test on the ic system and everything was good no leaks. I started it up again still running the same didn't think anything would change but wanted to try a few things. like pulling a vacuum line and see it anything changed and nothing did. i also did a cylinder power balance test and ever time i unplugged the 1-6 wire the tone of the engine changed. so its not a dead cylinder and its most likely a vacuum leak. i also noticed that the top rad hose after 2 mins of run time had alot of pressure in.

ok so i just check my codes again and i have code 11 now witch is Momentary interruption in power supply to ECU.

Trouble Area

* Ignition switch circuit
* Ignition switch
* Main relay circuit
* Main relay
* ECU

Now i know these are things to look at but what should i be looking for in these areas?

mine did the same thing when I was really low on fuel. I'd try pulling your EFI fuse out and also resetting your ecu and see if that takes care of your problem

as of right now im stumped i check the whole system for leaks and no check engine lights any more besides the knock sensor but that was on and the car was still running find just performance wasn't all there. so now i don't know what to look for any help would be great.
