When im at a complete stop in my 88 t 5 speed, when i push my brake pedal slightly i feel a vibration in my shifter? its weird. never when im slowing down, just when im at a complete stop.

Im at a complete stop when it does vibrate. If i just let it sit at a red light in neutral and i push the brake thats when it will seem to vibrate threw my shifter.
sorry miss read that. does it just vibrate a little at first or the whole time you stay on your brake.
How bad of a vibration are we talking about? These cars have power brakes so when you push on the brake your booster is taking engine vac to keep brakes good. that might be your problem. I know when i roll up both windows at the same time, putting and electrical load on car i can see my vac drop slightly, also causing minor engine vibration.
Its the hole time im on the brakes. It doesnt seem to affect anything, been doing it for awhile, just wondering what it could be.

Sounds like is may just be the brake booster taking the vac it needs. park it on a flat spot where you dont need to apply brakes and slowly turn steering wheel, ps using vac also, see if you still have your vibration. Worst comes to worse jsut dont rest your hand on shifter when applying brakes/ lol
^Not good to hold the shifter all the time anyways.
Maybe if you replace the bushings if there worn it might take up the vibrations.
