Water running in on battery

just like the title says when we get rain.. the rain gets onto the battery and soaks the terminals.. when i go and try to start it it will smoke because of the terminals being wet... as soon as i clean them up it fires right up...

i have a seal in the front of my hood but it dosent seems to keep the water from running in

what can i put on the terminals to seal them?

You have a battery problem if it is really smoking.

You can get battery protectent in a spray bottle.

Aye, there is an anti-corrosion spray available.

the battery wasnt smoking it was like sparking between the terminal and the terminal on the battery..

ill have to get some stuff for the terminals
