Water Pump question...

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anyone here has driven their cars with out the Hydraulic lines connected on the water pump for the Hydro fan? I was just too lazy to go and change housing... I drove the car all day yesterday and I didn't notice anything wrong with it so I'm just wondering how long it will last.

the hydro lines that go to the fan act like a cooling system for the pump. much like an oil cooler

Does anyone have some pics of The installation progress??? I forgot how it goes again...

i thought i had a good pic of it but i dont.

i do know that the upper hose on the fan side bends into a U shaped and goes back to the top of the pump. but thats all i can remember
