Waste gate or Actuator failure?

Hello, I have problem with the ct-26 turbo. The boost pressure rises up to it's absolute pressure with out any interference. Can this be the Actuator has been blown? And then the waste gate will not open?

Is there any way to perform a test if this is the case?

Thanks.

To make sure your waste gate is opening properly you can just attach an air compressor on to the line going down to the wastegate and slowly build up the pressure to see when it starts to open vs. fully opened. I don't know the exact numbers for the stock wastegate spring unfortunately, but I'm sure someone else will be able to chime in on that.

Fault was found. The tube going from the compressor into the actuator was heavily burned in the end. The actuator could not work and I had a boost leak. It's fixed now and works like a charm.

Thanks for your reply!
