Ok, here is my dilema. I recently purchased a jdm 7mge motor, it is indeed a strange beast! the motor has the "y" pipe intake, not the cressida intake. however the motor has cressida motor mounts, cressida oil pan, and the cressida fuel filter next to the mount where the j-tube would be. here is the question... is it a supra motor? or a cressida motor? do you think that someone with a cressida wanted ACIS? so they swapped the intake? or did someone actually pull the motor from a supra and drop it into a cressida? anyone with ideas could help me... I am trying to do a NA-T on this motor in my supra... should I keep the motor and change mounts, oil pan, and oil pump?

the motor is fine. just change over the oil pump,oil sending unit, pan, mounts and the intake mani and you should be good to go.
iirc supras only came turbo in jap. the 2.0(1g), 2.5(1jz), 3.0(7mgte). so your motor is probaly from a cressida, crown or ?
