Very quick question @ Lexus/ Supra AFM's

Are the electronics on the stock AFM the same for all 7MGTE's?
And are the Lexus electronics compatible as well?
I read a few threads concerning the Lexus upgrade, but couldn't see any mention of whether the electronics need to be swapped out, or if the Lexus unit could stay on the AFM body.

They are the same.

The electronics between the two are the same. You can either buy the Lexus AFM as a whole with the electronics or you can buy just the body and swap in your old AFM's electronics. If you have a known good and working AFM, you may as well swap it in. That way you have one less potential problem part with an upgrade that you're changing a bunch of parts at the same time.

As mentioned, they are the same. However, it is only the larger body of the 1UZ unit you want.

It was really more a question as to whether I could steal the AFM electronics from a 1UZ to repair a 7MGTE with a bad AFM.
