Vacuum Hose I.D. and O.D. Info Needed!

Before you ask, yes, i have searched. Looking for the sizes of the vacuum hoses, as i've heard different sizes floating around.

The longest 'run' of hose is apparrently 3.5mm, but i cant find any, theres 4mm all over the place, is this the stuff i need??

I've got no idea where to look in the TSRM for this kinda stuff :/

Onlineconversion.com says 3.5mm = 0.1377" = 1/8th Inch, which loads of people stock, and others call 3mm....is that right??

Depending on if you only want to replace the 3.5mm hose or replace it all, you could pay $70 for a real quality silicone vacuum hose kit from www.hosetechniques.com which includes all lengths and sizes needed for our engine.

lol I'd think that would work. I dont see why not if the conversions equal each other. If you really couldnt find the "true" 3.5 anywhere, just get a tiny section of the 1/8", run out and check it on the engine quick.

I bought my 3.5mm hose from HTS. http://www.hightempsilicone.com/ May not be helpful for Kai though.

If you use 4mm in place of the 3.5mm be sure to use either small clamps or zip ties to ensure a proper seal.

Well the engines coming out for the impending rebuild (hopefully before the 27th May), so i thought i might clean the engine bay up, clear up the wiring loom, remove the shitty looking connectors, patch in new wire for the coil pack etc, and replace the worn looking and dirty vacuum hoses, make it stand out a bit.

Jeff - if you're still reading this thread, do dealerships stock the plugs for the coilpack and the CPS?

I stock the coilpack plugs, not sure about the CPS ones, never looked it up, but I doubt I'd keep that in stock.

Well looking at the CPS - someones taken the plug off and used crimps on it instead...which i dont like. I want the original plug!
