There are a few threads around with different stuff, but I just did a swap and what I have noticed is,
1. The throttle cable is different, needing modification to the holding bracket.
2. Throttle body is different, only has one vacuum line on top, and different clocked tps
3. Metal coolant hose that is below the exhaust manifold is different requiring different routing for heater core
4. No egr valve or egr related parts. Block off on the back of the head for this on the exhaust side.
5. No charcoal canister and no bvsv.

Probably a few other things I forgot.

May or may not be a difference, but my oil gauge is not working and I remember there being a debate about it being different. In my case it could be a gauge issue or bad sensor.

Pretty sure they had a cc as the 1jz even had that and it wouldn't come with an engine.
Also the tps is year related on the prongs not jdm vs usdm.

The oil pressure sensors are different so with a us spec car you need a us oil pressure sensor or you'll fry the gauge and just that hopefully.

Other than that mechanically its the same thing. Your not gaining hp or anything but a massive lose of money.

The JDM wiring harness is somewhere around 18 inches shorter. Also the M1 plug is larger and needs to be converted. The ECU is different as well.
