Sup People,

I have been a little concerned about my motor lately as I get closer to completing the swap. I was trying to turn the crank the other day to put on a flywheel. The first few turns seemed more difficult than I had previously had done. After several turns, it was fine again. This is alarming to me. The only thing that I could have contributed to this would have been cleaning the engine off with a hose. Afterwards I realized that the spark plugs were very loose .. . I am guessing from the compression test the importer did. Anyway, perhaps the water leaking down into the cylinders has caused some rust or something.

Can anyone suggest/give some advice on what to do hereafter?

Cheers.

Dont turn it over fast and try not to do it as much as possible. When you get it all together pull the spark plug all the way out, and turn the car over. It will force all the water and whatever else maybe in the cylinders out.

Cool! I was also told to put a little oil down in the cylinders to keep it from rusting up and lubed.

Thanks alot I was getting worried that some dreaded irony would occur when the time came to crank it over.

Thanks, thanks, and thank you.

I hope you dont have too much rust on your walls. i guess you will find out when you are able to run the engine for a bit and check your compression
