Hi...
After waiting 3 weeks to recieve a turn signal/wiper/headlight control I went to plug it in to test it and the turn signals didn't work...this is what happens:

When I turn on the LEFT turn signal it will turn on like expected 90% of the time...the other times it will just not turn on.
When I turn on the RIGHT turn signal NOTHING happens... if I move the switch a little there is a loud buzzing sound coming from the fuse/relay panel down by the foot area. This happens when I wiggle the switch to the "sweet spot" on the control and it will keep buzzing.

This repair manual I have suggests a dead bulb so I switched out the RIGHT turn signal bulb and it didn't make a difference. All 4 lights come on with the hazards so its nothing to do with the bulbs. I checked the fuse and it is 100% intact.
Would it have something to do with the relay?

What is the buzzing sound?
Why won't it turn on?

I tested it against my old control and mine works flawlessly for turning on the signals. I tried the "new" to me control I got from a fellow member and it doesn't work like described.

I need this fixed ASAP
Thanks

When I move it back to the neutral spot it fixes it, but I need to beable to use the turn signals, leaving it in the neutral spot won't work while turning :biglaugh:

We switched the old switch with the new switch for JUST the turn signals/headlight onto the OLD working one, so hopefully that will solve it...
Anyone have any suggestions if not?
