ok so my 89 cressida had 286,975 miles with no major engine work yea good shit. But last week it started up and had a rod knock or possibly a spun bearing , i was to busy with the 1jz so i pushed it to the side, but sat team TRD was over and i showed them the knock and i was like fuck it and pegged it at 8grand lol .Shot the rod cap threw the oil pan ....first thing that came to my mind 7mgte !!!!!! and as soon as i thought about that my boy said he had a 7mgte block in his garage so im goin turbo but im stuck on is will it be a direct swap ? can i use the auto tranny ?
