mods are built 7m (currently broken) with supporting mods and holset he351cw turbo. recently rebuilt the turbo because the front seal was shot and was pouring oil out. i rebuilt it myself but did not get it balanced but i put the compressor wheel in the same spot it was. so no more oil in the intake but now when i go wot then let off i get a cloud of blue smoke out the exhaust and i can smell burning oil.
im pretty sure it is the turbo not the engine because it is a fresh motor. the PCV system is not stock. the valve covers are tee'd together and then one hose goes to the intake mani. then there is a check valve so it pulls hard vacuum on the crankcase until boost and the check valve wont let pressure through. on the other side i have an exhaust scavenging tube that uses exhaust pulses to pull a small vacuum. it also has a check valve inline that witch makes it only effective duriong boost.
so what could be causing my smoking issue. the turbo drain is a free flowing -10an and feed is -4an with a restrictor too. thanks
id also like to add that twice the dip stick did blow out and spewed oil under the hood.
