I tried putting the trunk board out of my 89 turbo into the 91 turbo and it wouldn't fit? Is there any difference? and way to make it fit?

dunno if this helps or not, but i have a trunk board from an 89NA & a 92T. They're identical. good luck.
Yeah my 89 board has shorter mounting points than the 91 and the board hasn't been modified, if I could find my GODAM CAMERA I'd show a pic of it!!!
There should not be any differances. Toyota only lists two different part numbers.
one for 01/86 thru 08/88 (toy. #5840114100)
one for 08/88 thru 05/93 (toy. #5840114101)
Someone at somepoint must have changed something.
on an another note. try swaping the front metal deck riser (that the deck board attaches to) it changed with the deck board in the same month/year.
