Hello again my fellow Supra-maniacs!
It's time to start tying up the loose ends on my latest build. I've gone with a long-runner style FFIM & a 75mm Mustang throttle body on my 7M.
I would appreciate some input, ideas ... pictures, even - of how y'all have tackled the following "custom" bits:
1) Alternator drop-down bracketry.
2) Throttle linkage / bracketry.
I have a drop-down bracket for the alternator, that Sethron provided with his FFIM. I am not quite sure what to do with the bottom bracket to make it work. I didn't tear down the motor when it all came apart & I haven't owned the car long enough to be very familiar with it ... so I'm at a little bit of a disadvantage here. What I can tell from Ron's thread, it appears that he simply shortened up the original bracket. For some reason, it just doesn't appear that simple ... I don't see how it all lines up, yet. Granted - I haven't invested a whole helluva lot of time into tackling this problem yet, but I'm a bit perplexed & I know plenty of you have already overcome this little detail!
The throttle linkage is just going to take a little creativity & I would love it if some of you could post up a pic or two of how you've adressed the issue, so that I can formulate some ideas of my own!
Thanks a bunch ...
