trans prob

just finished 2 passes at the track tonight killed a 5.0 and a sti any way after i let the car cool down decide to leave and now the trans is not wanting to shift out of 1st its like its sliping then it shiffts. its also an auto, could the TQ converter or the trans just be hot. its macking a winding sound. Think its time to manual conv.. how big of a job will that be to go auto to stick.

Same thing happened to me when I raced my friend in his Camry, after the last pass the tranny didn't want to downshift when the pedal was floored.

nope, here in Cali baldwin park. =]. my friend told me it was the TPS. i know what it is, i just dont know where to find it. i still need to pull codes from the cal.
