i was checking my coils for cracks and once i put everything together i started and it seemed like it ran BAD (like the timing is off kind of bad
). so i knew i did something Lol, double checked the coils and started it up again...
ran a little better but D'oH noticed my timing belt was moving back and forth to the front of the cam gear and to the rear..
i didnt really have this problem before but i kind of corrected it by hand and the car started up a lot better the third time... would it be overkill to replace the timing belt tensioner, idler pulley, and crank gear/guide all at once ?
when installing the guide when i first got my engine i bent one of the fins just a hair and bent it back im thinking this might be the culprit.. i didnt compress the tensioner when i first installed it as well with the timing belt... and actually have no idea if its still good or not so i figure might as well buy a new one..
anyone see anything else i should check just incase?
