hello, I am having trouble getting my temp guage to stop maxing out in my MK3 1JZ swap. I believe I have found the problem which is the #2 wire on the M1 Plug that is brown in colour. Someone had suggested grounding this wire to fix my problem. I have now found the wire but not sure what to ground it too. I did not do the wiring and am slightly noobish, thanks for the help. Pics to come shortly.

If it is the ground to the gauge cluster, then ground it to the chassis of the car and it should fix the problem.

ok tried to get pictures but camera is only getting blurry shots. its my sisters cam so not too sure how to use.

I am for sure looking for the gauge cluster ground. I thought I had it before but it seems the ground wire is soldered onto the 1jz plug (therefor grounded on the motor like stock)

here is a link to the pic I am currently using to help me. maybe you can tell me if its the right plugs im looking at?

yes that is the correct plug.. ma70 m1 plug
the brown wire is the ground!
to see if it works just use a buddy clip and clip it to the brown wire and ground it.
