Guys , for some unknown reason today my tacho AND temp gauge decided to not work on me, so I have decided not to drive the car until I can get these problems fixed. Any one able to tell me what I should be looking for/how to fix these two problems? I really do not want to drive the car until these are fixed, mainly the temp gauge!!!

Sounds like a problem in the cluster. I'd pull it and check for obvious things wrong (burnt circuit board, loose screw, etc.

Well now they work intermittently, eg sometimes when i turn the car on they work, sometimes they don't! so it makes me think it might just be a loose wire or something. Any thoughts people?

No, havn't had time. Working 6 days a week, BUT, they seem to only like to work in early morning or night, eg. when it is cold. they worked on the way to work at about 8am, and then after letting it sit in the sun for 3 or so hours they didn't work. Went for a drive tonight at around 7pm and they were working again. Any ideas? How would heat affect my gauges?
