Hi guys,

On my driver side wheel, one of the nuts for the stabiliser links keeps unloosening. I am unable to tighten it fully because the other end just keeps spinning. why is it unloosening by itself?

It makes a strong knocking sound when I go over bumps and when I turn.

I have actually lost the original nut and just put on another one. They aren't special bolts are they?

It shouldn't spin freely, it should rotate freely. You should be able to wiggle the stud in every direction without it binding at any point. If you look right up between the boot on the link, and the sway bar itself, there is a spot there to put a wrench so that you can tighten the nut correctly.
