Supermonitor display mods?

Anyone experimented with this, maybe replacing the display to match the color of your custom dash backlighting or redone CC leds? I was checking my display tonight (not in the car yet) and trying to decide if it was feasible or not to attempt.

I'm going to keep this simple and recommend you just forget about it. The display is a VFD, no LED's, incandescent bulbs or EL back lighting.

I didn't examine the actual board that much (looked at how to dissassemble it first) and didn't notice what kind of display it actually was. As a VFD, you're right, I just don't see it as being a feasible mod. Thanks for the quick heads-up on it.
