Suddenly High RPM's

Hello,
I was just wondering about the problem of my car. It idles higher than normal. Before it idles around 650-800 but now it idles around 1200-1450.

You know they are working because they will turn on when coolant temps or A/C demands it.

Possibly a vacuum leak. I put an intake on w/ 2 vacuum ports that arnt plugged, and my idle jumped a couple hundred..

That or a Idle control motor (idk if MKIII's have them, i know my moms b/fs MKII did) but when that went bad on his, at first it didnt idle, then it idled at 2500

I dont hear it turn on anymore?when does coolant temps demand it?how about the high rpm's?

i already checked all vacuum but still the same.
You mean isc(Idle speed control? or the sensor nxt to the throttle body?
