Got a prob . Car idle's perfectly . Vac holds at 15 per boost gauge . No codes at all. Timing set at 12 . 99.5% sure all hoses and pipes are snug . Car bucks when I try to drive it . All gears cold or hot . I am kinda lost I checked everything that my manual listed on its trouble shooting guide in the chiltons.

Had a problem eariler with a little bhg goo on the oil cap but I think I took care of that . Recently swapped this motor in after a case of rod knock . ran fine for a few weeks went and did the knock sensor rewire and replaced the injector gaskets . Replaced the wire to the starter and ground . That is all the info I got any ideas . Thanks Matt

15 what? 15 psi or 15 mmHg? If it's 15 mmHg...then there's a vaccuum problem. If it's 15 psi, it's all good :p.

Well I reset timing to 10 and rechecked vac lines . A rather odd looking filter under the dash pot was pinched by my wire harness. After that I took her down to the gas station and she ran right up to 5 lbs of boost and held for all of a minute till I backed off did a couple of really quick pulls up to 4 grandish and all "seems" well we shall see
