Hey are the stock bolts supposed to fit in the flywheel without any play?

they're self centering IIRC (taper before the flat part of the head)

flywheel also only goes on one way

I think you missed my question. Or maybe I did not undestand your statemet. If i put the stock flywheel bolts into the flywheel while it is off of the engine .... are the bolts supposed to sit tight in the flywheel itself or does it have some slack.

They should have a little play, after all the flywheel is on a peg so its not going anywhere. Just make sure you locktite them in when you put them back don't want them working loose after a few 1000 miles:kaboom:
