I have already searched and can't seem to find the solution I am looking for. About a month ago I took my car to get the alignment fixed, they tried fixing it, but said my bushings (don't know which ones) were worn and couldn't adjust the toe-in. The front tires wore out rapidly in the next week.
I took it home to my regular mechanic and he changed the lower control arms. He also said I needed to change the upper suspension A-arms. My alignment isn't as bad anymore since changing the lower control arms.
The steering wheel isn't centered when I drive and it pulls to one side, but not strongly. I don't know exactly if that's the problem. After reading some posts on here I think it might be the upper control arm bushings and ball joints or the lower suspension arm bushings. The car is an 89 stock. Thanks for the help, guys.:1zhelp:

an easy checkl you can do for bushing probelsm is to raise the car up and put one hand on top of the tire and the other on the bottom and move it up and down. if you have play, then i believe that your ball joints are worn out. and if you go left to right, then its the tie rod. also, if you spin the wheel and you put your fingers on the springs as its spinning and you feel any vibration on the spring itself, then your bearings are bad.

I will try that tomorrow when I get home from work. I hear it's a pain in the ass to change the ball joints and bushings, well without a press.
