Steering column alignment

I replaced my steering rack and didn't make sure the steering wheel and front wheels were straight before putting everything back together. Would taking the steering wheel off and then put it on straight fix this, or am I going to have to take everything back out and do it again?

As long as it still drives normal, just turning the steering wheel should do the trick.

have you had anybody check the actual alignment on the car? They will/should straighten out the steering wheel..

There wasn't enough adjustment on the tie rod ends to straighten them out, I already tried.

ok let me get this stright you wheels are just turned 2 one way more then the other

if this is the case yes you can fix this by taken off the wheel and reinstalling it

now if you are toed out funny the no

I would have it aligned first, then if that didn't work I would adjust the wheel.
