i had disconnect the battery to turn off the engine. the starter is always engaging. when i try to turn off the car the starter is on trying to crank, but only when i try to turn the car off. the ignition switch is in the off position also. i have had a viper automatic start for over year, if that has anything to do with it.

HAS ANYONE HAD ANYTHING LIKE THIS?!?!?! cuz i have no idea what it is...

Remote start systems are fine for a starter if they are hooked up to stop when a RPM signal is achieved and not crank for a certain amount of seconds.

so it seems to have stopped for some reason... it was left over night with the battery disconnected. would that mean its something electrical?
