Start up problem

When I start it up itll run for a second then die it will keep doing this unless I start it up again and immediately pump the gas pedal for it to start idiling then it will be fine. Anyone have any ideas what the problem may be?

hmmm sounds a lil different from my experience but samair at the same time. it starting and dieing seems like the egr vavle my be loose. check and see if the egr is connected to the intake on the rear driver side of the engine. good luck

ya its connected..it stopped doing it so I think it may be because I was parked on a hill
