Springs on Shocks Question (PICS WOO!)

so my shocks and springs came in. intrax springs with KYB GR-2 shocks. the rear springs sit perfectly on the rear shocks. the front ones however...only sit right if they are upside down. the reason i say upside down is because the writing is upside down...but i dont see the small side of the spring fitting going on the top part of the strut doohikki..it looks like thats how its supposed to be..but the words are upside down. what goin on here? heres some pictures.

this bottom one is how it sits when its supposedly right side up..

It looks right in the first pic, dont mind the writing on the springs. I just did Eibachs and they were the same way you have yours.

i just wanted to make sure cuz dylan's little step by step strut changing thing specifically says not to put them in backwards

As long as you dont have the front spring on back and vice versa looks good to me.

That is shit send em back! it should be snug as it seats down the bottom

right but thats when the spring is right side up. this is what im trying to figure out. everything is perfect when i put the springs on upside down. the second pic is when its right side up and you can see it doesnt fit right.

turn it round and take a pic, you should not need a spring compressor with lowered springs normaly

look at the first picture. look how much i need the spring pressed to have that shaft thing stick out..
ill take some more pics another time.

Thats how my eibachs were. I still had to compress them for the install.

The second pic is with the springs on upside down install them how they are in the first pic.
