soft lines coming from the oil cooler

how come it looks like they are 4 pieces?
anything special about these 2 hoses?
can i just replace them with oil resistant hose (probably can and would be cheapest)
they seem to be rubber with a rope like material braided around it

my 2 were leaking not much just a drop every now and then but i would like to replace them while the engine is out

-Thats how the diagram shows length, without showing the whole length... just like every other diagram ever.
-They are higher quality and are more abrasion resistant than anything you'll find for cheaper.
