so i called lexus today..

i called in for a replacement door lock actuator and they quoted me for 300 dollars (just for the part). here is a picture of the actuator.

and guess where the parts were made from?

:nono: it took me about 30 minutes to pull everything apart, including prying open the actuator case which is bound with glue. i ordered the exact same motor from ebay at the price of 7usd for 5.

300 dollars for a piece of plastic and a mini motor made from china. f t l

Lexus = Over-priced Toyota. I'll stick with Toyota (yes I know Toyota owns Lexus) and put the money I saved from buying a Lexus into upgrades

exactly, but i took apart like a dozen of my old toys. i brokez them..now im sad :icon_frow:cry:

i also bought a pair of valve cover gasket seals, yes 2 pieces of flimsy plastic. 30 dollars for exhaust and intake side. =(
