Car is pretty much stock, I have a custom intake and a full straight pipe exhaust from the turbo elbow back, boost raised to 8-9 PSI, replaced stock wires with NGK blues last year did plugs as well, did my own little turbo rebuild on a spare I got from a buddy to stop the rank smoking issue, and replaced all of the cold and part of the hot side intercooler pipes and some other odds and ends.
Now my question is, my car was running fine but the plugs were lookin like time for a change and the mileage one them agreed. So I change my plugs, and now there is a slight miss/hesitation when you try to build any kind of boost before 3000rpm. But after that it just hauls ass even better than before I changed them.
I was back at the motor a few days later and I changed the cam seals and have the belt and everything lined up proper for timing. While I was doing this I went over all the stuff I had taken off for the spark plug change and put it all back together and it was all done right. Still same issue. Only thing I can thing I did wrong the first time is while I was taking the coil pack out I FUMBLED it and DROPPED it on the garage floor.
Now this morning I changed the coil pack to a know good one and still the same problem. Does anyone have some good insight they would like to share with me?:icon_bigg
