Does anybody know the size and thread pitch of the coolant port on the back of the cylinder head ? I need to tap mine out and clean up the threads. I believe the thread pitch is 1.5mm but not sure on the diameter.

Have you considered ordering a new one from Toyota? I know they're really not that bad, pricing wise. Would be nice if someone had one laying around though... But then again, if you're gonna tap/helicoil yours, you might as well buy a new one, right?
A new head or a new union? If it's the union, yeah, I'd say get a different one. If it's the head...that's a little be more expensive. I've got a spare union sitting around...
That wasnt my question. I need to know what size tap to buy to clean up the threads in the cylinder head where the union screws into. It appears to be a 20 or 22mm tap with a 1.5 pitch threads. So is it 20 OR 22mm OR something else ????
