Hey guys,

Does anyone know the exact belt size I would need for a 2jzge with out the air compressor for the air conditioning.

I have tried 3 different 6 rib belts so far, none that fit correctly.

Have you tried measuring it without the AC compressor there? Use one of the soft tape measures like they use to measure your waist and what not.

I pulled a piece of string around and measured it... took that to the parts store and the belt was too short.

If no one knows the measurement then I'll go buy one of those types of tape measures... surely walmart sells it? lol

thanks for the idea AF1JZ

i had tried this with my mustang a few years back....didnt turn out too well, spent most of my time driving back and forth with belts and always too short or my tensioner wouldnt adjust far enough...had to buy an idler. Keep trying you may luck out.

LOL,

I'll give it a few more tries... I'm thinking about putting the compressor back on and just saying SCREW IT and order a factory belt.

My camaro is my go-get-er right now... so ive spent about 20 bucks in gas so far just trying to get the correct belt.

I'm ordering 4 belts at a time now lol... supposed to be in friday. maybe i'll luck up.
