Seriously needing some advice on cams

My distributer failed and when I tried to install the rebuilt one I bought It would not go it. Ends up the gear on the cam is obliterateed as well. I cant seem to find anywhere online with decent prices. Like if imma spend 500 on aa damn cam replacement I may as well just put a low mi. motor in it for a couple hundred more.

Anyone got any suggestions, or been through the same situation?

It's pretty easy to change that cam. I would just try to find a junk yard car and snatch a cam out of it.

i have an extra exhaust cam. if you want it you can have it. just have to come pick it up...

right on thanks for the reply guys. I already have a set of cams with the gears lined up to purchase from a fellow SM memeber. I need to get this done in the next 2 days. Things are just too friggin stressfull relying on others to get you to work among other things.

If anyone has any good pointers or walkthroughs they know of to replace the camsshafts and gears properly it would be much appreciated. Other than that Ill be going off of the TSRM I got.
