My seatbelt light came on and it won't go off. Yes I have the seatbelt snapped in before anyone asks. :biglaugh: The light came on after I cleaned the engine with degreaser and water. Everything else works fine. Any suggestions.

Short in the wiring harness. When the water in the harness dries up this problem will likely go away.

However you've still got a short in the harness you need to track down...

You were right. Seatbelt light works properly again this morning.

As far as the short in the harness I wont even try to go there yet. I'm still trying to get all the parts off to change the air filter. Followed by the lower rad hose removal and belts.

Good call

What parts are you removing to change the air filter? You shouldn't have to take anything off.
I have a 89 turbo and for the life of me I tried to get the air filter open but it seems that I have to disassemble the intake to the turbo and all the hoses connected to it. Problem is the car has the original filter on it and the hoses are welded on from the 19 yrs of never being changed. Any links to the air filter change would be appreciated. Guess I am getting off subject.

Stock airbox is a pain in the ass when the accordian hose is NEW, it's damn near impossible when it's old and hard.

Good luck, and if you have the cash, get a different design (I like Apex'i)
