Just did a headlight housing comparison today for curiosity, had to share it with you guys on the forum.
I while back I purchased some EBAY "diamond cut" H4 housings. I then bought 8000K HID's and put them in.
I was happy with the results, much much brighter than the stock sealed beam halogens, but scattered everywhere with no real focus point.
After reading about these "Hella E-Code" housings, I decided I better get myself a pair.
$118.45 at Lordco (canadian dollars) for the Hella's.
Here are the results:

Ebay Housing

Halogen Housing
Hella E-Code Housing
As you can see, the E-code housing has more of a cutoff and focus point compared to the ebay housings. I notice the E-codes put down more light on the road, rather than spead it out all over the place.
You notice the cutoff a whole lot more when its dark outside, as well as you notice the scattering more on the ebay lights when its dark outside. But this gives you an idea.
I will post a picture or two of the lights against my garage when its dark outside.
