I was talking to William and he mentioned in another oiling thread (on here and celicasupra.com) about the rx7 oil cooler with built in thermostat. I searched here rx7 oil, rx7 oil cooler with no results somehow.

I'm wondering if anyone has used the setup and their experience. I currently have a almost stock 7mgte... or stock enough that I'm not worried about running a huge cooler but I currently don't have a thermostat so I definitely need one. I was hoping to keep it cheaper and clean instead of adding what will probably end up a full AN system with Canton thermostat and a new cooler.

Any input would be great.

I would skip it. Even the rx7 guys do not run them. They are terribly unreliable and are very old tired and used.

You can get a earls block adapter with a built in t stat for pretty cheap brand new.

Or if you want the good stuff get a mocal t stat.
