Replacement of turbo oil return line questions

Well, do you endless amounts of tries, PB blastering the HE double hockey sticks out of it, I ended up taking metal schears and cutting the turbo oil return line(accordian looking one underneath the turbo) in half, believe me it had it coming and I wanted to invoke a small amount of hurt since its going to return the favor 10 fold during this rebuild.

My questions...
Should I find a stock replacement for it? or
Can you switch to steel braided lines(i would think better/stronger/more reliable), if so, how would you attach them?

Thanks for your help and responses.

I bought the Stainless steel brainded lines from MDC for 135 + shipping. It was much easier to put back on, but if you want the stocker then I will sell for 30 shipped. Let me know if you're interested.
