reading my 2jz engines serial numbers

Any info anywhere on the engine serial numbers to get interesting information about the motors origins etc? Just for interest sakes?

I'm referring to the little badge on the middle timing belt cover, or are they all the same?

if you have a picture of your engine i can give you a good idea of what year it is etc
