Racing ITC soon.

I just bought a 1986 BMW 325es for $300, with a good running motor and a bent front fender. I plan to race it in the ITC class with some other friends who have the same car. I'm pretty excited about it, I've only road raced my little CRX, my YZF6R, my CBR929RR and dragged my Supra. So this is an actual race, for points and trophies.

Just doing it for the fun for now. I'm not planning on winning anything. There are a lot of good drivers out there. But I get to learn a lot about racing, and driving, and hang around with some friends.

If anyone else has done this, I'd love to hear what they think about it.

Ok, I'll post up pics as soon as I can, probably this weekend, or maybe tonight. I'll see what I can do.

It's no beauty queen guys, but she'll do quite well on the road course, and man, the center console and dash is in such good condition!

That's exactly what my friend did to his, and it doesn't look half bad for a race car. There are 4 of us that will be getting the 325e and racing it. Mine is the es, so it's got full leather, and all the goodies... not that you need it for racing, but it's neet that it all still works

lol riding in style while racing! im personally not a huge fan of leather seats but it would be pretty funny to pull up in a fully optioned out bimmer with heated seats and the like :biglaugh:

if your friend did flat black, go with pink! if i ever get my hands on a track car it will definately get a nica coat of that baby / bubblegum pink! :icon_bigg

We are all doing flat black, with a highlight color. So around the base, and the front bumper will be the highlight color. The last one to buy their car, has to use Hot Pink as their color. So the last 2 are pretty much racing to buy a car before the other one.
