Quick electronic/harness question

Alright, I have a 90T harness that is for 5 speeds. Somebody wants to buy it but has an auto, and they wanna know if it will work or not. I'm not really a genius when it comes to wiring and electronics, so if someone could help me out here, that'd be awesome.

They Will have to Wire the harness for an automatic, other then that it will work. i.e. tap into 2 plugs or 1? i dont remember

it wont work. if the buyer has to ask that question, then he wont be able to make it work or he would already know that he'd be able to make it work.... by modifying it. because it is diffirent in a few areas than a 5 speed.
