Quick Aftermarket Gauge Cluster question

what do i hook up the 12v wire too? its gotta be something that turns on with the running lights obviously, but i dont know what. help a brother out.

pretty sure you can just stick it in with one of the wires (not sure which) that is hooked to the fog lights. just pop out the thing with the fog light switch and defogger and what not and try it.

right, but i have my fogs always on. and i dont want the gauges always on

oh I havn't done the fog rewire thing so let me take a look at were else you might be able to do it.

That wire is available from the cigarette lighter. It turns on the little green light inside it.

get a multimeter. its a bad idea to just tap into wires not knowing if and when they are hot or not.
