t04B a/r .96 on exhaust side and .60 compressor side REAL GARRETT/AIR RESEARCH turbo,
P trim turbine wheel
V trim compressor.
V-clamp setup 4" inlet on both intake and exhaust

Question:

Can someone please explain to me in laymans terms what the specs means?

What can it do in terms of spool and HP numbers ( an estimate is all I am looking for from the Pros) on a 1JZ engine ?

What advantage/disadvantage will one encounter if this was put on a 1jz.

Thanks in advance guys.

Provided its that V trim, and not the super V from the T3 fam, Id say the thing will make into the upper 400hp range.

The P trim turbine matches well with the 3.0 ltr 7m and 2jz. P trim capable of 600hp or so.

.96 might be a little laggy, but I would estimate it @ 4000-4500 rpm spool.

it's a waste of a time turbo.. there are so many new turbso that are much more efficient... I'd say forget that junk and get a modern day turbo which spools faster and makes more power!

thanks guys. MDC and Zazz, thanks for that explanation. I think I can decipher the turbo specs a bit better now.

Zazz....I wasn't planning on buying one of these...I was just trying to get the information out to someone else.
