picture sizing

how can i make a picture smaller to lates say put on SM, all my pictures are very large and i need them to be smaller...

i open it with mspaint, then select all and hit image tab, then stretch/skew.... change 100% to say 50%? on both the vertical and horizonal.. then i save as a .jpg..

or load it here in this link turbojoe paisted, (awsome link joe)
and it will auto resize them..
