Hello everyone i was wondering if i could get a picture of an MK3 with the rear bumper cover removed. I got rear ended today at a low speed and there appeared to be no damage at all looking at the bumper cover and underneath the car above the muffler (that is right where they hit). However if there is a solid bumper underneath that may have been damaged, i would like to remove the bumper cover (how difficult is it to do this) and have him pay to replace it.
He hit directly where the frame rail runs along the underside of the car, and it seems that's where the bumper is mounted underneath the cover, which is probably why there was not much damage.
