Other Manual Transmission Options for the MKIII

What are the other options for the MKIII we know the solstice transmission bolts up with some modifications but what are some other trannys that mate up with adapters and such. Any one with a t56 tranny or any other crazy american tranny?

I did some research and gave my hopes up looks like the toyota truck guys still use the stock tranny with american v8's guess I'll just do a swap to the R154
