oil sprayers and knock sensors

I got another std bore 7mge and while taking it apart I noticed that it only has one knock sensor and has no oil sprayers. Its an older 87 7MGE and Im gonna use just the block to replace my 90 7MGTE block the had a piston melt and screw up the already bored cylinders.
Any thoughts on what I should do?
Does it need Both Knock Sensors?
Does it need the Oil Sprayers?

you will have to drill and tap holes for another knock sensor. But the oil sprayers you don't need. My next engine is going to be a GE block.
