i got a neaky oil leak where i dont know where it might be coming from... well i have an idea.... when i stop at a stop light or park after driving for awhile, smoke comes from under the chassis... smells like oil...i see some dripping... the smoke and the oil dripping seems that its coming from the cat, or around there... anyone of any idea....

also, ive seen this thread before ...

oil sits on top of the last 3 spark plugs, seems theres a leak there too...

The leak up there in the spark plug galley is from bad valve cover seals, or from loose valve cover bolts. You should get on that right away and check to see if it's one of those, but also look around. Clean the engine up real good, and get some engine oil dye. Let the engine run for a little bit, then shut it off. Shine a black light all over the engine till you see an area that glows. Pinpoint the leak and go from there.

but did you tighten the valve covers to the correct torque? From what I understand under-torquing and over-torquing can make them leak. Some people will actually use a thin bead rtv or fipg across the entire gasket surface.

rear main seal maybe if its down by the cat/dp. into the tranny bellhousing down the small drain hole in the front of the bh then down the tranny?

I dunno, good luck
